LifeStraw

I once posted ‘I find it as a must buy. In fact, the LifeStraw will replace the water filtration system I currently have. Not only is it great for the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting, it provides a great tool for disaster relief and emergency management.’  The parent company liked the post so much, they put it on their website.  I still feel this way.  Weighing a mere 2 oz. the LifeStraw can open some valuable backpack space and clear the pounds of what a water bottle would consume.  When I first reviewed it, the shelf life was 3 years with a LOG6 for bacteria.  It has since been revised to a 5 year shelf life with LOG7 for bacteria.  What does that mean?  It means it gets a lot of stuff out of the water so you can drink safely from whatever water source you are near.  99.99999% of bacteria actually.  LifeStraw has been tested to filter enough water for one human to drink for nearly a year if used correctly.  Try that with a water purification tablet.
